Schmersal offers an IP69K rated, non-contact sensor that uses RFID technology to provide tamper resistant machine safeguarding. The RSS36 offers LED indicators, Serial Diagnostics, and meets PLe per ISO 13849-1 and SIL3 per IEC 62061, even when connected in series, up to 31 devices. A magnetic latch option provides a holding force of 4 pounds and can be used as a door stop.
